The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority at Noblesville Schools. After the shooting at West Middle School on May 25, 2018 we announced several safety enhancements we would like to pursue.
We are seeking the community’s support of an expanded operating referendum on the November 6, 2018 ballot.
This expanded referendum would provide Noblesville Schools with increased funding for safety and mental health initiatives. Additionally, it will help us address the increasingly significant challenge of recruiting and retaining top teaching staff.
The referendum we passed in 2016 was about maintaining the status quo of our staffing, programming and services, and was a reduction in the tax rate.
This referendum is asking the community to support an increase in funding to maintain strong academic programming while increasing resources for school safety, mental health and teacher recruitment/retention.
This new referendum will replace the existing one and would provide funding through 2026.
To maintain the excellence of our schools, please be informed with the facts, share the message with others, and most importantly vote.
At Noblesville Schools, we’re passionate about serving the needs of the children of Noblesville, especially when it comes to keeping them safe and ensuring they have the best teachers. We’re supporting business creation and retention in Noblesville. We’re keeping property values for homeowners high. Most importantly, we’re partners in developing the future.
Thank you for your support of Noblesville Schools!
